Dustin Johnson took home a glamorous £16m bonus after being confirmed as LIV Golf's inaugural individual champion.
Johnson clinched the jackpot with two events remaining after finishing tied for 15th in Bangkok last weekend.
The American has enjoyed plenty of success since joining the Saudi-backed series, finishing in the top five in his opening six events,
including a maiden LIV win in Boston last month. The 2020 Masters champion amassed a remarkable £11.7m in his first season on the breakaway circuit.
After being crowned champion, Johnson described becoming the inaugural LIV winner as an 'honor'. He said via the series,
"To lock down an individual competition is a big one. Being the first LIV champion in an individual season is an honor.
Our team is in a perfect position with two events ahead of us and I look forward to further contributing to the exciting story and continued growth of LIV Golf.”
