Small hints have been dropped over the past few months that Hamilton and Mercedes will continue their partnership beyond the 2023 season.

Wolff confirmed that an extension was "going to happen", but the Mercedes team boss added that Hamilton would like to continue driving in F1 until the year 2027.

"The upside is we talk a lot," Wolff "Just last week we sat down and he says 'Look, I've got another five years in me,
