Max Verstappen has hit out at Red Bull with a sensational scathing attack on his team
Dutchman was denied pole position at the Singapore Grand Prix. The championship leader looked to be on course to clear the field from Charles Leclerc until his team told him to pit,
meaning he would start eighth for Sunday's race and the celebrant was furious at the decision.
The Dutchman, who celebrates his 25th birthday this weekend,
would be hoping to secure a pole to give himself the best chance of sealing the Drivers' Championship title this weekend however,
he faces an uphill task to get the race win needed to get out of Leclerc's reach after qualifying eighth for the race at the Marina Bay street circuit.
He was told to pit the car before the final corner due to low fuel, which could jeopardize his position on the grid depending on how much was left in the tank.
And Verstappen didn't even try to hide his feelings about the team's mistake, hitting out at his engineers for not detecting his low fuel level during Q3.
