LIV Golf is gearing up for its Middle East debut in Saudi Arabia from October 14-16, where the LIV Golf Invitational Jeddah will bring 48 of the world's best golfers
To the country to compete in the penultimate event of the 2022 groundbreaking season.Royal Greens Golf & Country Club will host reigning Open champion,
Cameron Smith (Aus) and 12 major winners among the 48-strong field, which also includes past Saudi winners Dustin Johnson (USA), Harold Varner III (USA), and Graeme. McDowell (NI).
In a first-of-its-kind individual and team format, the pros compete in 12 teams of four with a shotgun start accompanied by music and entertainment.
With an impressive $25 million purse, with $20 million in individual and $5 million in team events, the competition is the final international stop in LIV's eight-race inaugural season,
which previously competed in the US and England. A week before Jeddah, golfers will travel to Thailand for the first event on the Asian continent.
